Ansonia bobbing doll clock in great original condition. Jumper # 1. The clock appears to be all original. Paper dial is yellowed and in nice condition. Original hands. Glass has a few edge nicks or divets but nothing through the glass and very hard to see. These dont show in the pictures. Clock will run with doll bouncing up and down for 10 to 15 minutes but stops. Needs adjusting and could benefit from a cleaning. Marked original movement and all the screws appear to be the old steel screws. Porcelain doll perfect. No chips, cracks or any repairs. The string is newer as should be. Patent date on the dial is from 1884. The doll has a number molded into the bottom. Number 284. This is the same doll as shown in Tran Duy Ly book on ansonia clocks and is pictured on page 64 bottom photo #104. The clock is shown on page 65 lower right. One day time, 4" dial and the clock is 15 1/4" high. A few very small blemishes in the metal but a very nice collectible clock. Overall an excellent original clock.
