You are bidding on a near "Mint", all original, Royal Bonn Clock, "La Layon". These pictures do it no justice. This is not one of those Royal Bonn Clock's that has had its movement replaced with another. IT'S ALL 100 % ORIGINAL !!!! This clock has had only one owner and has been in my families collection and handed down since it was made in the mid 19th Century. It has absolutely no cracks, no breaks in either the porcelain clock body or its dial. The roses are "perfect" with no paint loss, glazing or crazing. The clock itself has no crazing and still shines almost as it did when it was produced. T is very little gilt loss and does not distract at all from its beauty. The porcelain body is painted in a teal green with beautiful, intact, red roses with pale yellow, white and orange flowers. The gilt on the porcelain is nearly perfect with slight loss near the legs of the clock. The dial is "perfect" and is the original glass and sash. It runs perfectly, keeps "perfect" time and is currently sitting on an antique armoire. The clock comes with an original key, back door and pendulum, all original to this clock. It has been cleaned, seviced and oiled. If you are like many a Royal Bonn Clock collector don't miss this one. La Layon is one of the more larger and more collectable Royal Bonn Clocks.
