You are bidding on this brass Sunwatch, from the Ansonia Company. The design for this pocket sundial was patented on June 6, 1922 by George Hollinwood (Patent 1418926). This piece is marked patent pending so I presume it is c1920/1. This piece was marketed to the Boy Scouts of America. Just align north to w the needle points, read the time on the sun dial, correct for the date and your location by referencing the info on the data plate; you know what time it is.
