This is a super rarer antique 1920s or 30s MARTHA CHASE HOSPITAL baby doll.These dolls were used for nurses training.This baby is made of composition type material,painted over.And jointed with leather.It measures approx.23" long.I am guessing it is the 6 month old size,as these dolls were made in differant sizes to represent the differant ages of infants,children,and adults.It has ear and nostril holes.The doll has the old stamp mark under the right arm.Condition is very good for its age.It was purchased from the estate of a collector,and was only displayed.Came from smoke-free home.The doll has some light paint loss on its hands,and a couple of small spots on its neck area,but nothing major.Flannel baby gown possibly original,but not sure.This is what she came in.A SUPER MUST HAVE doll for the serious collector.FREE SHIPPING.ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED.
