Antal Neogrady - Countryside scene ( Hungarian ) Measures: 30 x 40 cm 11.8" x 15.7" Oil on board! from: 1$ Biography: NEOGRÁDY Antal (Galsa, 1861 - Alag, 1942) Painter. He attended the School of Decorative Arts in Budapest. Master: John Greguss. He studied art in Munich later, Nauen private school, then from 1886 at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts continued. In 1887 at the Munich academy bought a drawing. Eszterházi Prize in 1984, won a series of watercolor. Between 1893 -1931 Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest watercolor taught. Mostly in watercolor landscapes and gouche. Besides oil painted images. Various pages for (New Times) drawn illustrations. 1888 regularly featured in exhibitions. Exhibition were collected in Budapest (1904) and Arad (1908). His works can be found in the collections of the Hungarian National Gallery.
