A super nice mahogany Pilliod machinists tool chest made in Swanton, Ohio. This item is an estate find and the story told to me was that it is from about the 1920s. The chest measures 20" wide x 12" height x 9" wide. It has 8 drawers with brass knobs and green felt lining. The corners have brass fittings all around. T is locking front panel that slides underneath the bottom drawer for a shelf. I do have the key for this panel and it does work. The top 2 right (your right) drawers measures 9 1/2" long x 7 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" deep. The drawer under these right hand drawers measures 1/2" long x 7 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep The top left drawer measures 9 1/2" long x 7 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep. The next drawer under this measures 9 1/2" long x 7 1/2" wide x 2" deep. The first long drawer measures 19" long x 7 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" deep. The second long drawer measures 19" long x 7 1/2" wide x 2" deep. The bottom third long drawer measures 19" long x 7 1/2" wide x 3" deep. The leather on the handle is brittle and cracking off. The green felt is stained from tools and such. T is a crack on the bottom left corner, I have taken a picture of this. The wood has various shaded spots on in it probably from spilled liquids. I would say all in all this is a very solid antique tool chest considering its age. I have taken a lot of pictures so please take a good look.Shipping will be FedEx at 20.00, which is fully insured for purchase price. The free listing tool.
