Antique 14 Kts Gold Ring with Rose Cut Diamond Information about the jewelry Setting: 14 Kts solid yellow gold, made approx 1900 in Austria Stamps: official Austrian hallmark for 14 Kts (foxhead) and producer´s punch "JL" Style: Art Nouveau Ring size: US 6 , German size 16.5 Can not be resized ! Total weight: 5.3 grams (note: 25 mm = 1 inch) The top of the ring is decorated with a rose cut diamond in a bezel setting, diameter of the diamond approx 3.43 mm. The band is measuring 7.44 mm on the top, tapering to 5.5 mm on the backside. The diamond is sitting in a closed back setting. A little damage of one of the facets. Our pieces of jewelry offered in this auction are antique and have been manufactured between 1885 and 1920 in Germany or Austria. They are no reproductions! I cleaned and polished each piece; nevertheless you will notice age-conditioned traces of wear. The material of the jewelry was examined, the data concerning the weight of the gems are approximate values. Up to a purchase price of 250.00 US$ insurance is optional (co-payment of 25.00 US$ for customers inside the European Union, for customers outside the EU 40.00 US$). Insurance can only be enabled if the item is shipped as a package (this is the reason why it is so expensive)! For every item being more expensive than 250.00 US$, insurance is at my cost, you will only pay 9.50 US$ for handling and shipping. All pictures were taken under a 40 watt light or in daylight, without a flash and have not been enhanced in any way. At least you will get what you see on the pictures.
