Features: This is a very beautiful antique to approx antique (1900 up to 1920's c) super heavy necklace. Made of solid 14K gold with 37 large natural bead amber gems of excellent quality , strung on silk thread. Has Euro 14K gold hallmark: "14K". Amber gem beads total approx 41.6 carats of amber (which is super heavy, especially for amber which is a very light weight gem). Amber gems are a natural beautiful honey orange color (similar to carnelian in color) as a oppose to the more common honey Baltic amber. Necklace is beautifull custom made and very well made. Amber gem beads are strung on silk thread with double knots bettween each amber bead. Necklace is in a graduate design, which means, beads are larger in center and become gradually smaller towards ends. Graduate designs help reduce stress to neck. Necklace is super heavy. Weighs: 85.2 grams by which approx 82.5 grams are in it's high valuable amber. Amber beads were tested by me and anohter jeweler. I guarentee, amber beads will indeed test genuine or total refund. Necklace was very well kept and in excellent condition. Measurements: 27 inches long. Amber gem widths graduate from a little over 3/4 inch (20.5 mm) in center to to 3/4 inch, 2/3 inch , 1/2 inch, to a little over 1/3 inch (10.8 mm) at ends. Would make a nice gift.
