Features: This is a very beautiful antique to approx antique (1910 to 1920's c) ring. Made of rose yellow solid 14K gold with some platinum with round cut aqua blue zircon stone. Stone is set in a heavy raised platinum set bezel (platinum is a precious metal more valuable than gold) with raised platinum on both sides of upper shank. Ring is hallmarked: "14K". Far upper inner shank has another mark, too faded to read. Also, has marker mark: "OAC". Via much time with researching, thus far, OAC is a mystery maker mark which we were not able to identify. Table (top of stone) is oxygonal (8 fold axis). Stone is of very good quality (VVSI , few slight inclusions) but would of been considered very excellent quality (within VVS) before modern methods of cutting was involved with treatments riding natural read more
