***EXTREMELY RARE***

This is an absolutely fabulous Antique 14K Gold & Enamel Masonic Knight Templar Jewel (uncommon of most Masonic or fraternal Jewelry of that era as 10k was mostly used) which is not hallmarked but has been thoroughly tested. This is a hand made Jewel which is crafted of 14K solid yellow gold with incredible enamel work. The top section is highly detailed with a cross at each end and has Gothic designs throughout and inscribed with black enamel as follows "1917 PAST COMMANDER 1918" . The bottom section consists of a large highly detailed Knight Templar cross inscribed "KT No. 3" with black enamel criss crossing swords and has a sunburst background with a keystone that reads "HELENA COMDY. BURLINGTON N.J." . This is a very ornate piece centered with a red enamel raised Knight Templar cross & crown and has a black enameled Maltese cross inscribed "IN HOC SIGNO VINCES" . The back of this jewel is inscribed and dated as follows "D. IRVIN HILL" "E.C. 1917-1918" and measures just about 3" long x 1 1/4"wide and weighing in at an outstanding 13.7 grams! The workmanship is unlike any that we have ever encountered and is in "Pristine" condition as you can see! This jewel was purchased from a private New England Estate along with a few other hand selected pieces (please see sellers other items).
