This item includes a neat victorian lorgnette or folding eye/opera glass. Measures approx 4-1/2" overall. The fabulous victorian chain is approx 30-1/2" or approx 61" overall. Chain is magnetic, so I'm assuming made of blued steel. Case of the lorgnette is not magnetic and appears like it was blued originally showing wear. Light corrosion on the inside. The glasses are not marked but acid test 14k gold. I've seen other identical examples that were marked, but I could not find anything on these and I did not take them apart.
