This auction is for an antique Ernst Heubach Koppelsdorf bisque shoulder head doll. Depending on how you measure, she is either 15 1/2" or 16". I have copied this link to better inform you as to why I have titled and described her in this way, and is for reference only: http://www.dollreference.com/heubach_ernst_dolls.htmlI purchased her a number of years ago, as you see her unclothed. I have done no work to the body. The main part of her body could possibly be original, as it looks like a Marseille body to me. There was leather added to the top part of the body, maybe to hold the breastplate better - only my opinion. The antique arms could be replacements, I just am not sure. Muslin was added to the riveted leather in order to secure them to the top of the body. All that being said, the body is very nice with absolutely no leakage, rips etc. The back of the dolls head is marked in pencil as shown with the mold number and then incised "German". There could be more markings below the leather, but I did not want to remove it for fear of damaging it.Her bisque head is free of any repairs or hairlines. She has blue/grey sleep eyes in good working order. The eyelid wax is good. She has an open mouth with all four of her tiny teeth. She does have a rub to the tip of her nose.
