Antique wooden clamp by the R. Bliss Mfg Co, 1874-1913, Pawtucket, RI. #807, 16" jaws, 19" spindles. This large, industrial clamp was acquired from a collection of wooden boat building tools, and that was probably what it was used for. There is age appropriate wear to the threads and jaws, and there is a chip to the front of one jaw. I believe it should be used for decorative purposes only. This clamp was extremely dirty when acquired but we preserved the patina through careful cleaning and light waxing. The clamp could be hung or placed on a table, etc. SHIPPING : This clamp will be disassembled for shipping, but I will label the parts. It will be carefully packaged and shipped insured via UPS/Fed Ex Ground.
