Antique 17/18thC. Chinese Export BLUE & WHITE Platter 1ft Qianlong w/Rivets ?? Description This is quite a lovely serving platter, it ouzes age. From Early Qing or Ching Dynasty. English Market export. It was damaged maybe 100 years ago or more and such was the prestige the old owners held this in they had it rivet stapled repaired. This form of repair can no longer be done as nobody can do it (a lost trade) and there are collector wesites for people who collect items repaired like this. It come's from the private collection of a deceased antique dealer in South East Ireland (info to buyer) From sometime in the lates 1600s early 1700s. There is also some old paint on it which scrapes off should the buyer wish to do so... Measure 1 ft wide x 8 3/4 deep.
