NOTE: the lower left frame rail has a crack repair at the front end, and the leg joints have all been reeinforced with four small wooden dowel pins; but luckily this was done nicely and is only visible from the bottom (see last 2 pics below). No other repairs or cracks present. The velvet covers are in good used condition and have minor surface wear with occasional faint soiling and spotting, The belts and fillings are still in excellent condition and firm everyw; it will be an easy task for a trained professional to replace the covers to your likings and/or to match the chair to your interior. Please also note that the original paintwork and gilding have NOT been redone (a very desirable feature), so t is some surface wear in exposed areas (mainly top of armrests, back rest frame and feet), and the gilding along the edges has a few aged chips and t, too. Still, the surfaces are smooth and stable everyw with no signs of flaking or peeling, and slight buffing with mild antique wax once a year will keep it that way.
