Antique 18 Ct Gold Diamond & Green Demantoid Garnet Daisy Ring c1910 Rich and vivid demantoid green garnets give this ring a bright colour. To the centre the garnet is surrounded by a ring of diamonds to create a flower. To each side, upon a stem of gold is a further demantoid garnet. All set in 18 carat gold. The flower is 6mm diameter and the ring 13mm across to the front. Weight is 2.6g aprox. Currently a UK size N or US size 6 1/2. Can be resized by a jeweller. The garnets are 3mm and 2.5mm diameter and total an estimated 0.25 carats. The diamonds are just over 1mm each. All stones are tested. Marked 18 for 18 carat gold, the mark is faint, it also tests as 18 carat gold. Condition is very good with slight thinning of the band to the back, still good and wearable. One diamond has been replaced and is a slightly darker colour, as seen in the photographs. An English Edwardian original dating to circa 1910. ~*~ Welcome to Maryefine !
