Lovely Swiss 18 karat gold pocket watch with diamonds mounted on blue guilloche enamel. The face of the watch is also surrounded by blue guilloche and white enamel border. The one side of the watch is mounted with 50 diamonds in a very attractive setting. The case opens and the facing over is engraved: MEDAILLE D'OR (around top). ED. PETER LUCERNE (around bottom). GENEVE ALICE H. TOWLE. The inside cover and indeed cover over the movement bear numerous hallmarks including "18K", "SWISS", '14439', 'GB' in an oval. There is also a mark to the outer over 'K18' and stamped queen's head (it looks like Queen Victoria). The case is in excellent condition and the enamel is not chipped / cracked etc. the watch measures 1 inch / 25 mm in diametre.
