I will be adding many more Dresden Germany figurines so please check back. This is a beautiful hand painted porcelain figurine. My photos could not capture the colors and depth of this gorgeous piece! There are 3 horned goat heads at the bottom of the neck/ There are 3 cameo portraits along the body. It is painted in soft pastels colors (except for the goat heads) and has gold trim. All of the decorating on the entire piece is raised or 3 dimensional. It is so pretty! IT is in excellent condition with no damage other than the rubber-type seal under the body where it is attached to the base was also painted but some of that paint is worn, you can't see it on display. It is extremely well modeled as well as the hand painting. The Jean Gille mark on the bottom was used between 1840 and 1860. I have listed info below. It measures about 8" high and 5" at its widest point. Definitely a prize for your Old Paris collection! I also have a pair of Jean Gille figurines listed right now.
