INTERESTING OLD ORIGINAL SIX CAMEO & GOLD BRACELET Very good old bracelet. This piece has been well loved and used for the past 200 years or so ... based on subject matter, condition, style and materials used I am surmising this bracelet was crafted in the early 1800's. The entire bracelet shows signs of wear and use ... it apparently has not been under lock and key - rather enjoyed and used for many happy years. If the "lady & tree" cameos were originally carved to exquisite detail - they are now soft and smooth with a mellow aged impressionist look. The gold has been repaired and soldered - photos show details. The clasp is very well done - strong feature of this piece as well as the safety link mechanism. Measures when clasped 6 1/4" circumference. Last four photos show the compromised elements of piece that include: one link to hold two cameos together needs to be resoldered, one cameo has a small nick, one link has been replaced with a "circle" link. Photos also show resoldering spots which appear outstanding due to magnification and bright lighting. In other words an exageration - not dicernable under normal circumstances....Good old piece, gold is not marked and t are no cracks or chips.
