A gorgeous ceramic paste flower basket centerpiece, 9" high to the top of the basket handle by about 9" wide. Two large roses, one pale pink and one more of a salmon color are surrounded by blue flowers and green leaves in a woven textured basket.
The crown over the curvy N mark on the basket dates from 1782 to 1834 according to my research. While the stamped mark is hard to read, it clearly says "Capo..." - I can't make out any more than that. The flowers have a few chips, though they're well camouflaged for the most part. One rose is missing the top of an inner furled petal and has some roughness or tiny flakes at the edges of a couple of the outer petals. Four of the blue flowers have chips on a single bottom petal, and four or five of the leaves have small chips or flakes. The other side of the basket has a couple of leaves with tiny scratches or fleabites on the tips but no noticeable chips. You should be able to see most of the damage in the closeup photos. Double boxed shipping weight 8 lbs.
