Antique, 1800's, Cresson & Co., cast iron, primitive cooking pot. This pot is very old and we have not been able to find much information about it or the Cresson & Co. The pot is marked on the bottom, "Cresson & Co."; there are other markings found on the bottom of the pot but we can only make out an "L". The inside of the pots lid is marked "1". This item has some surface rust, overall wear found throughout, and the bottom of the inside of the pot is very sticky and will need a good cleaning. The lid to the piece may be made of tin but we are not sure of this. Not including the handle, this item measures 10" x 7" x 7". Please see pictures for more details.
