This is an amazing antique saddle from the 1800's. This saddle must have seen some history in the days of the early cowboys, and would be a great piece to add to a collection or put on display! From the research I've done this appears to be a Mexican or Spanish style saddle. The saddle is made of wood and leather, and appears to be in very good condition for the age. The leather is a bit dry, but is in good condition with some light areas of wear. The leather skirt has curled under but is all t This has the girth with it and it looks to be original. The stirrups are wooden and one has a crack. The pictures best describe this wonderful item! The leather has some wonderful tooling work, and t are some nice brass decorations. Any questions feel free to ask. Some Measurements for you: The saddle measures 13 inches between the top of the cantle and base of the horn. The saddle measures 18 1/2 inches from the back of the seat to the front of the horn. The width across the seat is between 11 and 12 inches.
