You are bidding on an ANTIQUE c1820's Copper Lustre Ware Neo Classic Hearst Collection Pitcher . This beautiful pitcher was purchased at Marshall Field & Company from the Collector's Room of Antique China and Accessories, Second Floor, South Wabash .
Included in this auction are the following: Copper Lustreware Pitcher with Wedgwood Jasper ware type molded decoration - 5" tall x 7" wide Original Handwritten Note on Marshall Fields Card - "Brilliant Copper Lustre, Shell shaped jug with embossed and molded decoration. The classic design reflects the opening of the Neo-Classic in Cottage Art and the well known revival by Wedgwood. Ex: Hearst Collection, c1820". Handwritten Note of Appraisal in 1994 = $350-$450 This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or damage. The Jasperware type molded decoration is intact and beautifu l. I will be happy to email more photos. T is a piece of original clear tape on the bottom with the numbers "#4402" . I do not want to remove it, but I do not believe t is any other imprint under it. Most Copper Lustre Ware originated in Staffordshire, England. I have several pieces of Copper Lustre that I will be listing. No combined shipping on this item. Good luck!
