Antique 1840 Copper Watch Fob from Convict Ship Success is an Antique 1800's Watch Fob~ "Original Copper taken from Convict Ship Success Built 1790" with engraving of the ship~ It was a Prison Ship for criminals actually built in 1840 at Natmoo Shipyard, Tenasserim, Burma as a Full Rigged Ship~ A flyer circulated with the ship when she was being displayed stated that she was built at Moulmeir, Burma in 1790, thus the wrong date on the fob.~ Great Antique Watch Fob with a Historical Background ~ copper from a ship built in 1840 1.25" x 1.25" From Swayze's The Great Lakes Shipwreck File: "Barkentine, wood, 3-mast (all teak construction).
