Up for auction is a nice antique book. This is An American Dictionary of the English Language. It is by Noah Webster LL D. It is revised and enlarged by Chauncey Goodrich. This says Springfield Mass published by George and Charles Merriam. The front page of this book by Webster's picture is dated 1853...the next page says 1847. There is a signature of Webster under his picture...it says Engraved for the Zuarto Edition of Webster's American Dictionary. It was printed by Case Tiffany and Company. This book is torn in some of the pages and it has been written in with marks of pencil...there is also a dried flower. I received this book from an estate auction...it was stored for years...in old used condition...please see pictures for details. Low starting price! Thanks for looking!
