All Customs forms will state the actual selling price of items shipped internationally.When I found this large family portrait a few years ago, the image was almost totally obscured by decades of built up layers of coal soot, but I took a chance. I sent it to a friend who cleaned and restored paintings for a museum for many years. She removed the layers of soot and grime, but I didn't ask her to do any restoration work.I was thrilled when she finished. It is a striking family portrait, beautifully composed, eye-catching, and lifted to a completely new level of desirability by the little girl in her red dress and lacy bloomers right in the center.The painting on stretched canvas is 27 ¼" by 34 ¼".The painting was obviously cherished by the Geier family for at least one or two generations since there are some very old repairs visible from the back.
