I recently acquired an extensive antique Chinese/Asian collection. I am now listing the woodblock prints and art portion of this estate collection. Many rare woodblock prints from the one owner estate.Up for auction is an original antique Japanese woodblock print by Ando Hiroshige dating from 1857. This woodblock print is from the series "100 Views of Edo" and is titled "Fudo Waterfall at Oji Shrine". Has the artist signature and marked with the publisher mark in the lower and upper corners. Very rare woodblock print to find and seldom offered for sale. Great colorful image and detail. Woodblock print is in very nice original condition with a small edge tear on the upper right edge as seen in the photos, has a small thin spot in the upper left corner that has torn through and is only in the border, no other holes, no water damage, no fauxing, no folds or creases. Actual woodblock print measures approx. 9 1/2 by 14 1/8 inches. Very rare woodblock print and would look great framed. Found safely stored away for years at a recent 95 year estate of along time collector and from a smoke free home. Please check my other auctions for other Asian antique items from the same estate, including other Japanese woodblock prints. The glare spots are from the lights reflection and NOT on the actual surface of the item(color is excellent). Good luck
