Antique Victorian Watch Chain with Rare 1860 Stephen Douglas / Herschel Johnson Presidential Campaign Fob For Your Consideration is an Old Watch Chain & Fob I purchased at a Central Ohio Estate Auction. ~ The Chain Measures about 12 1/2" Long . ~ The T-Bar Measures about 1 1/2" Across ~ The Hoop is Marked The DFB Co. The Fob is Actually an 1860 United States Campaign Piece Representing Stephen Douglas and Herschel Johnson , Northern Democratic Candidates who ran against Abraham Lincoln. These types of Fobs should have a Ferrotype Picture of the Candidates on Each side but they are missing from this piece. See Closeups for Details.
