Both the images and text are considered a full disclosure of condition.THE NEW HAVEN CLOCK CO. - Incorporated on February 7, 1853, the New Haven Clock Company was formed by clockmaker Hiram Camp and others to supply clock movements to the Jerome Manufacturing Company, then the largest clock making operation in the world. Three years later, Jerome Mfg. went bankrupt and the New Haven Clock Company purchased it in April of 1856. By 1860, the company employed 300 men and 15 women and produced over 165,000 clocks a year.THE LISTED "BEEHIVE" GOTHIC CLOCK - The dome top "beehive" clock has mahogany veneers, and a painted metal dial with Roman numerals. The door utilizes a round clear glass in the top and square glass at the bottom that is reverse painted with flowers. The clock comes with a pendulum and key. This clock measures 19 1/4" high x 11 3/8" wide x 4 1/2" deep. It weighs 6.9 pounds.CONDITION: Although we have heard the clock chime, we CANNOT guarantee it is in good working condition. We sell many different types of antiques but claim no expertise in clock mechanisms. This clock is being sold "As-Is As-Shown."
