This is a hall marked sterling silver double picture locket which I believe from its mark to have been made in Birmingham in 1862. It has a chased floral/foliage design to the front and plain to the rear. The locket comes on a chain which I think is the original (that bears 925 marks). The chain is 20"/53 cm long and the locket is 3cm tall by 2.5cm across. The locket weighs 11.73g with chain. The inside looks like some kind of leather covering which I think is original. The hinge works fine and the locket generally seems in very good condition considering its age. Please contact me with any enquiries if you are not happy with your purchase I will refund your purchase price and postage costs and for overseas buyers if the actual postage cost is less than quoted I will refund the difference.
