Here is an Beautiful Antique 1870's Ames Fraternal Eagle Sword and scabbard in very nice, unrestored condition. I believe this to be a Fraternal Order of the United American Mechanics. This was found in a local Seattle estate and I am no expert on these so please ask questions. Sword measures about 37" overall length and is marked Ames Sword Co. Chicago Ill. Beautiful etching on both sides with J K Crumly and U.A.M in the middle. Sword has V.F.E.P. on crest as shown. It has a great patina with typical signs of age and use with several edge dings.
