Antique 1873 French Bayonet Trade Knife Indian Sword. This long knife is from my personal collection. It is about 27 5/8" long. It is completely tight and in excellent condition. The blade is full and has not been sharpened. It is in perfect working condition. T any many markings on the blade, handle, bayonet lug, guard, and scabbard. The scabbard and bayonet have matching numbers. The blood grove on each side of the blade runs 17" long. The top of the knife is engraved in French with a date of 1873. The bayonet and scabbard are completely straight. The scabbard is in excellent condition and has no dents. This piece has been in my collection for quite sometime and is one of my favorites.
