Please take a moment to read the 'fine print' while viewing this auction. Antique Christ's College Bowl tankard, dated 1875 with the name H.E. Dixon on it. Tankard appears to be pewter which may have had silverplating on it. We find no markings of manufacturer on the piece. We have googled Christ's College hoping to find out more about the name without success. Glass bottom tankard. Measures 4 1/8 inches diameter at the base x 3 1/4 inches diameter at the mouth x 4 5/8 inches tall/high. Dings in the handle as seen in the photo. We see no dents, damage or repairs. Appears to be in quite good, well cared for condition for it's age. Nice patina to the piece. Normal wear is expected with pre-owned, vintage and/or antique pieces. Winner pays actual shipping.
