Co., Bristol, R.I., Trade Mark, E. H. Ashcroft, Boston, Mass., 1876, Solid Drawn Tube, Warranted, Registered Aug. 21, 1876, No. 9, 3761." It registers pressure between 0 and 260 pounds. The Herreshoff Mfg. Co. made racing and cruising sailboats. This gauge was used on a Boiler. It measures 4 3/8" in diameter x 1 7/8" high. It is made of solid Brass (which could use more cleaning). T are some minor scratches on the crystal. The face is clean. The hand is perfect. The brass casing is in good condition with no dings or dents. This is a great piece to add to your collection.
