PROFESSIONALLY ULTRASONICALLY CLEANED & OILED ($65 VALUE) - DON'T BUY A DIRTY CLOCK THAT IS GOING TO COST YOU MORE MONEY DOWN THE ROAD TO KEEP IT RUNNING DO BUY IT NOW AND DOMESTIC SHIPPING IS FREE!!! - This auction is for a RARE AND HARD TO FIND antique windup, cast metal locomotive train novelty shelf clock made in the U.S. A. by the Ansonia Clock Company, circa 1878 - An example of this clock can bee seen in Tran Duy Ly's Ansonia Clocks & Watches Book - Page 523 - Item #2163 - The 8" high x 5" wide x 3" deep cast metal case is made in the shape of a old steam locomotive train with a multi faceted amber jewel for the trains light - The case is fitted with a time only, wind up "BEE" movement made by Ansonia - It has a heavy beveled glass over the paper dial - The dial reads: "MANUFACTURED BY THE ANSONIA CLOCK CO - NEW YORK - UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" with the Ansonia triangle trade mark below the 12 - It is fitted with sleek black metal hands - Stamped in the back of the movement cover it reads: "PAT.
