This is the 3rd largest branding iron I have ever seen, The brand is 8 1/2" tall . Most are about 4" tall . It's a real one dating to 1880-1900. Hand forged in good condition. The brand is the ROCKING DIAMOND S . Over all 34" long. THe handle is bent on purpose .. helps keep it stright when burning in the brand. It came out of a West Texas Ranch estate a few years ago.. I will be listing several piece from this collection. All old and in the same family for over 50+ years.
