For auction, from an estate collection, this is a blue velvet photo album containing portrait images containing 88 cdv and cabinet cards. The cards are contained within a lovely album which has a blue velvet cover marked "SOUVENIR". This estate sale yielded this album along with a pile of loose CDVs making a total of 88 cards in all. The album contains photographic images of individuals in the Washington, PA and Baltimore, Maryland areas. T are a few from Iowa so I am assuming they are "distant" relatives. The album is in good shape for being over 100 years old and all of the cards have been well preserved. T are a few pages with tears near the bottom w the photo is stored, but not a detriment to this collection. The edging on the album is in gold guilt trim with a silver spring fastener. I have included many photos from this collection to give you an idea of what is contained in the album. Lots of baby photos, couples (with the man sitting and the woman standing!) and even a photo of an old lady in a wooden wheel chair. If you need additional photos, please notify me through the ebay messaging system. You won't be disappointed with this collection!! This album is being sold with no reserve and weighs 6.5 lbs. prior to packaging. Look for an additional upright green velvet album listed by this seller to combine shipping. Items listed by this seller have been acquired through estate sales, auction houses, antique stores, consignment and private purchases. I do my best to list a complete description of what I see. All items are sold as is with no refunds with the exception of any misrepresentations by the seller (i.e., an overlooked flaw). Any refunds given will be completed once the item is returned. Shipping is not refundable. Most items shipped USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation for your protection and mine. Most auctions end on Sunday evening and items are prepared for shipping and mailed on Wednesdays. If payment is not made by Tuesday, your item will be shipped on the following Wednesday. Buyer always has the option to purchase insurance. Every item is expertly packed. Buyer pays $1.50 handling fee. Seller not responsible for Post Office mishandling.
