We apologize for this but it is obviously beyond our control!! *** ** Outstanding example of a Victorian Timepiece, Which is in MINT / Excellent condition!! ** This is a beautiful looking, Solid Sterling Silver antique 1885 Victorian pocket / fob watch. The inner of the case bares a full English hallmark which has a date letter K (for 1885), place London, sterling silver mark, makers initials CN, the case is also marked with the retailer: J.C.Hopwood & Son47 High St Colchester. The dial features black roman numerals hour markers and silver minute markers, original Spade-style hands. The original outstanding (best dial we have ever had or seen) highly detail Solid Silver & 9ct Gold dial is in good to excellent condition, free from any damage . The beautiful highly detailed 127 years old outer case is in exceptional condition for its age considering it is an antique timepiece, it is still very crisp and I doubt this timepiece has very had much use over the past 127 years. The jewelled key wind movement is ticking and it has been monitored static on my desk with the back open running for 12hrs, just running a little fast, this is very easily adjusted! The movement is also signed by its Swiss maker:-STAUFFER Cx-DE-FONDS The approx size is 60.1mm from top bow/bottom case, by 10.7mm thick (including the glass) and the diameter is 42mm. The overall condition is excellent to mint for its age (in my opinion you won’t find better). Please note no guarantee can be given or implied on vintage or antique timepieces, No reserve!!
