This is a great antique cast iron Fairbanksscale from the 1800’s. The scale is made of cast iron with bronze hardware. The scale measures 15 ½” long and 8” tall. The scale is marked “ FAIRBANKS ” on both sides and “PATENTED MCH 3, 1886”. It comes with two weights which are marked “CROSBY 1” and “CROSBY 2”. They both measure 4 ¾” in diameter. The scale still has the original red/burgundy paint intact and untouched. The scale still works properly and it is in excellent condition. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
