For auction is an Extremely large Antique Atlas by Rand McNally. Titled ' The Rand-McNally Indexed Atlas of the World'. Measures approximately 22.5" by 16.5" by 4" thick. 584 Pages. The book itself weighs 30 pounds!! Most maps and statistics are dated 1890. The book cover is in poor condition and was even 'duct taped' at one point. The first few pages are in poor condition also. But the maps are incredible. 90% of them are in fantastic, frameable condition! Most maps are double pages so measure approximately 33" by 22.5". I guess this listing is really for the maps, since the book cover itself is in such poor shape. Hopefully I have included enough pictures for you to get an idea of the contents and conditions of the maps. The Statistics in this are absolutely incredible and to see what they held near and dear so long ago is fantastic to see.
