Super neat piece that we discovered at a recent estate dispersal! Fantastic pewter hand piece atop a wooden walking stick ...a bit of an age bend to the wood, but nothing major. Bottom is tipped with a brass cap for protecting the end. The handpiece is a marvelous pewter molded depiction of Columbus , and it has a date (patent?) of December 20, 1893 on it as well as being marked 1893 Columbia Chicago ....noted as a Souvenir in script. Measures in at about 36" long ...a bit of wear to black painted color for the wood...a bit of wear to the hand piece...still and all, a fabulous piece for any collection and one we think you will truly enjoy!
