Antique 1897 Griffon Automatic Stropping Machine This listing is for this antique item for the razor collector. It is called...Griffon Automatic Stropping Machine. It has a US patent date of April 6 1897. It also has patent dates for England and France that are also from 1897. It looks like a pretty sophisticated piece. It measures approximately 11 inches long. It is 2 inches wide and 1 3/8 inches high. It is in very good condition for its age with just very light aging and wear. It is made of wood, chrome and leather. It has a wooden paddle handle and chrome gears and attachments for adjusting the leather. Nothing appears broken.
