Being listed is this antique, Vanderman Manufacturing Co, sold by Harold Dessau Incorporated, trunk. Patent July 13 1897. We were told that these were used to transport gold bullion on the stagecoaches. Dimensions are 31 1/2" x 18" x 17" on the outside and inside dimensions are 30" x 15" x 14". Trunk does need a cleaning. Looks to be original handles and lock. T is some minor paint chipping and wood chipping. Good luck! Check out our other Vanderman as well.
