This listing is for a beautiful and finely made Chinese porcelain tureen dating to the late 18th century. The tureen is finely painted with floral sprays around the exterior of the body and cover done in the Famille Rose palette and accented with gilt. Accenting both side walls are two applied boards head handles. The cover is accented with an applied floral finial with a small stem and leaves. It measures about 11 inches across including the handles and stands 6 inches tall. It is in very nice condition with the exception of finial having been off and reattached. There are also some losses to the petals and a chip the stem and leaves.
