18kt Antique moghul chain necklace studded with 11 carats of diamonds ! A little background on this collection : This collection comes from a Princely Estate whose heir is a fresh graduate, armed with a Business degree. He owns this humble âeoeSmall Palatial Palaceâe which he is converting into a âeoeHeritage Hotelâe. With gold prices at all-time high, he is looking towards some liquidity by selling off some of his jewelry collection, which he inherited. Selling them off at eBay gives this gentleman a fair transparency about the sale. This collection has virtually every piece you can possibly imagine. From early European Victorian pieces to large antique Moghul necklaces and some very beautiful, big rings and gorgeous earrings we have ever seen ! Now the bottom line : We will be starting the auctions by first listing the finest pieces from this collection which are also in excellent health with no repairs or damage history. With big, sharp pictures and accurate descriptions, you just cannot go wrong with these pieces ! we have this substantial moghul diamond chain necklace, studded with genuine large size diamonds. The necklace was hand-made in 18kt solid gold and 22kt solid gold under the enamel side on the back. It is studded with over 41 large diamonds which weigh a total of 10.78 carats. The necklace has round shaped diamonds and oval shaped diamonds set alternately. The round diamonds are an avaerage size of 0.25 carats (1/4 carats) and the oval shaped are about 0.4 carats (just under 1/2 carat) each. The diamonds are all of speriori quality, SI-I in lcarity and H-I in color. The diamonds are all 100% genuine and earth-mined. The diamond studded necklace measures 10.5 inches long. It has a very elegant 18kt solid gold chain which makes the total over all length of the necklace to 17.5 inches. The total length of the necklace is adjustable from 16.5 to 11.5 inches through the solid gold lock. The necklace was crafted with very fine workmanship. This necklace was crafted on two frames, one over the other. The frame in the front was made in solid 18kt gold, which holds all the diamonds and another frame was fused underneath, crafted in solid 22kt gold on the back side, which has beautiful engraving over gold and the colorful enamel in the back side. A practical aspect of this expensive necklace is, when you do not wish people to notice the diamonds, simply turn it over to the enamel side and no body can guess that it has large diamonds on the reverse side !
