is an intact high chest or highboy base in walnut, probably of Massachusetts original from the mid 18th century (circa 1740-1760). It retainsits original brass, mid-moldings and would accept a top measuring 34" x 20." Secondary wood is white pine, drawer fronts are inlaid with stringing (see photo). Condition: excellent and structurally sound. All but one knee return missing and top right drawer has been set up as a cutlery drawer and also lined with felt. Old refinish. Size: 37" wide by 34" high by 21-3/4" deep. Thanks for looking! NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING: We don't know how much it will cost to ship this.
