An antique wooden trunk (14 x 34 x 18.25 inches). The trunk is covered in vellum with metal fixtures. All screws and nails are handmade. The side handles are forged out of wrought iron. Inside, t is some remaining decoration that was made from period, hand-colored wall paper or paper. The original owners initials are painted underneath with the date 1760. T are no holes or severe damage. It is simply an 18th century piece used in travel and shows wear accordingly. The piece was purchased in Germany.
