This is a very old, antique 18th century, full size, hand made, violin with case and two bows. The violin came from a deceased estate where it was played in a local orchestra. Violin is labelled Gio Giorgio Taningard, fecit Romae Anno 1745. There are old repairs to the side of the body no repairs to back, neck or scroll, small repaired cracks to front on sound holes. Violin had a new set of strings fitted recently. This will make a very good violin for the right person. Back measures 13 15/16 and the scroll has been grafted very well.
