beautiful antique holy bible, illuminated leather bound bible with clasps, gold edging on pages. dates i believe 1900, "the pronouncing edition of the holy bible containing the authorized and revised versions of the old and new testaments arranged in parallel columns giving the correct pronunciation of every proper name contained in the bible Prof. s.w. williams" "complete concordance marginal references, chronological tables, a history of ancient biblical maunscripts with facsimiles of the same, the earliest printed editions of the bible, a history of the revisions of the bible. many, many beautiful full page color lithographs, many beautifully detailed illustrations, maps, recording pages, back pages contain photo holders for family pictures. ===================== about the bible: front and back covers and clasps are in very nice condition as shown in photos. all of the pages except for about the first 10 are intact in the binding stitching, with NO pages missing from cover to cover. outer binding on side of bible has extensive loss as shown in photos, but as stated all but the first few pages are still intact and sewn into the binding. pages are all in very nice condition, the aging to this beautiful bible is reflected only on the outside side binding. i have taken good photos to show the condition. with some restoration read more
