Antique 1900's Era Wooden "Millinery" Mannequin Head Hat Block Mold Form Stand :Very cool antique 1900's era wooden "Millinery" mannequin head hat block mold form stand. The item is in good condition for its age. Made completely of solid wood which has been carved into a humanoid shape, it is free of any major imperfections. Minor flaws are present from age & use in the form of dirt & staining, small cracks & scuffs throughout , as well as blue & black marker stains, but they do not take away from this piece at all. The piece measures 21.5 inches around the top of the head & has been sanded to a smooth finish & left in its natural color. The bottom of the head has been carved inward on the inside & there is a separate slot for mounting the form on a pole or stand (not included) . As well it reads "21 1/2" on the outside perimeter & "Chicago 796" on the inner piece. Lastly, the piece reads what looks like "Midway..." for the maker's mark but it has worn significantly from time. Altogether makes for a great gift for collectors. Please see pictures for condition issues.Measurements : 7.5 inches in H, 5.60 inches in L, & 6.90 inches in D.
